We will be at farmers’ markets Tuesday afternoon in Princeton and LaSalle. We have lots of watermelons and tomatoes. We also have blackberries, raspberries, sweet and hot peppers, eggplants, potatoes, garlic, onions, cucumbers, zucchini, winter squash and jam. Both markets open at 3:00.


We will be at Princeton Farmers’ Market on Tuesday afternoon. We have plenty of watermelon, blackberries, delicata squash, and tomatoes. We’ll bring what might be the last few blueberries of the season. We also expect to have peppers (ripe, green, and hot varieties), eggplant, potatoes, onions, garlic, basil, cilantro, zucchini, cucumbers, kale and chard. Market runs from 3:00 to 5:30.


We will be at market in Princeton this afternoon with blackberries, blueberries, and red raspberries. We should have fresh garlic, cucumbers, zucchini, cilantro, a few tomatoes and peppers. Market is open from 3:00 to 5:30.


We will be at Peoria and Princeton farmers’ markets on Saturday. We have fruit: blueberries, blackberries, red raspberries and muskmelon. Vegetables include tomatoes, green peppers, eggplant, beets, new potatoes, onions, fresh garlic, basil, zucchini, and cucumbers. Plow Creek Bakery will provide cookies, rolls, and breads. Peoria market opens at 8:00 and Princeton at 8:30


Today in Princeton we will have plenty of berries. There’s a good supply or red raspberries, black raspberries and blueberries. We will also bring what might be the last of the strawberries. For veggies, we have chard, kale, zucchini (green and yellow varieties), cilantro, turnips, and garlic scapes. Market opens at 3:00.


We are going to market in Princeton and LaSalle this afternoon. We’ll have raspberries, watermelon, concord grapes, winter squash (pie pumpkins, acorn types, and butternut), peppers (sweet and hot), and tomatoes. We’ll also have some green beans, green onions, arugula, radishes, turnips, garlic, jam, honey, sweet potatoes, and potatoes. Both markets go from 3:00 to 6:00.


We will be at Princeton and Peoria farmers’ markets Saturday morning. We’ll bring watermelon, red raspberries, Concord grapes, tomatoes, eggplant, radishes, peppers (green and ripe sweet peppers, plus habanero, cayenne, and jalapeno hot peppers), cucumbers, zucchini, garlic, potatoes, sweet potatoes, arugula, green beans, red raspberry jam, and honey from our farm. Plow Creek Bakery will also be back with a good variety of goodies. Peoria market opens at 8:00 and Princeton at 8:30.


We’ll be at farmers’ markets tomorrow in Peoria and Princeton. We have lots of watermelon, peppers (green, red & yellow sweet peppers plus jalapeno, cayenne, and habanero hot peppers), tomatoes, and red raspberries. We also plan to bring concord grapes, basil, honey from our farm, raspberry jam, garlic, winter squash (butternut, acorn, and jester), garlic, green beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and some cucumbers and zucchini. Our jalapenos are so big and abundant I’m offering a sale for pepper lovers in Princeton. One pint is $3, but 2 pints are only $4. Plow Creek Bakery is on vacation. Saturday is the Princeton Homestead Festival parade. More than 7,000 people are expected to cluster Princeton’s Main Street on Saturday, September 12th at 1:30PM. If you aren’t coming for the parade, come to market early to avoid the crowd. Princeton market goes from 8:30 to 1:00 and Peoria from 8:00 to noon.

We will bring eggplant, green peppers, tomatoes, rhubarb, zucchini & yellow squash, cucumbers, green beans, kale, wild spinach, purslane, potatoes, turnips, beets, fresh garlic, peppermint, garlic chives. We just made jam with some of our red raspberries, so we have a few jars available. We’ll also bring fresh honey from the hives on our farm in Tiskilwa. In addition, expect plenty of goodies from Plow Creek Bakery. Peoria market opens at 8:00 and Princeton at 8:30.
