Saturday in Princeton and Peoria

We’ll be at farmers’ markets tomorrow in Peoria and Princeton. We have lots of watermelon, peppers (green, red & yellow sweet peppers plus jalapeno, cayenne, and habanero hot peppers), tomatoes, and red raspberries. We also plan to bring concord grapes, basil, honey from our farm, raspberry jam, garlic, winter squash (butternut, acorn, and jester), garlic, green beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and some cucumbers and zucchini. Our jalapenos are so big and abundant I’m offering a sale for pepper lovers in Princeton. One pint is $3, but 2 pints are only $4. Plow Creek Bakery is on vacation. Saturday is the Princeton Homestead Festival parade. More than 7,000 people are expected to cluster Princeton’s Main Street on Saturday, September 12th at 1:30PM. If you aren’t coming for the parade, come to market early to avoid the crowd. Princeton market goes from 8:30 to 1:00 and Peoria from 8:00 to noon.
