Can’t wait until our yearly trip to Illinois just for the reason that we get to pick our own strawberries! My children and I look forward to this experience all year long. Produce in the desert stinks and especially produce w/out the use of pesticides. Thank you for providing this experience for families. Not only are you giving great produce, but building memories as well!

I was disappointed in my picking experience. The website said picking moderate and I combed every plant and barely got 2 pints. Maybe it was an off day but I thought there would be more.

Their blueberries are phenomenal..bought at Pton market. Hoping for some weekend berry pick dates for this 9-5er. :)

I so look forward to my frequent visits to Plow Creeks strawberry field and blueberry hill. It’s not only the affordable prices, the humble growers, and the healthy qualities of organic fruit that keep brining me back. To me, maybe the most rewarding aspect of the experience is the time spent in near solitude contemplating the important things in life. I think of how God created such wonderful food. It’s great to look at, touch, smell and of course taste. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to spend time in the quiet experiencing and enjoying His creation. I also thank God for the good folks at Plow Creek who spend their time and effort to help bring this delicious fruit to harvest. We may not all have the opportunity to farm for a living, but do yourself a favor and spend a day harvesting some fruit at Plow Creek. You’ll be glad you did.

Strawberries are my husband’s favorites. He does most of the picking. I can’t get down to pick.

We both pick red raspberries, which are my favorites. I wash them when they come out of the freezer. We cook raspberries with sugar and add currant jelly for flavor.

We use blueberries in fruit compote and often on top of cereal. We also make a sauce for peach melba.

We like almost anything Plow Creek grows, including corn and watermelon. It’s always clean and as pesticide free as you can get. We always find the personnel to be friendly.

Picking berries is great fun and allows for a feeling of peace. You’re in your own world as you pick.

I wish we had frozen more berries! We really like the strawberries, blueberries and fall red raspberries.

It is such a lovely spot, so peaceful. It give you a good feeling to go and pick the fruit yourself. I like to invite my relatives. My sister came with me two years ago. And then my daughter-in-law from Arizona took some berries with her in an ice chest!

If you like fruit, Plow Creek is the place to get it. Ernie goes often to pick, probably once or twice a week … or whenever we run out. We like all of the berries: strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. We love to eat them and they are so easy to pick. We usually give some away to our friends and relatives.
