- Seedless watermelon are in
by Jim
Cool weather delayed both the growing and the ripening of the watermelons this year, but today we finally pulled in a good sized pile of red seedless watermelon. We also have red watermelon with seeds, and sweet yellow watermelons. They will be available at Farmers’ Markets ( Princeton and Peoria on Saturday; Princeton and LaSalle on Tuesday) and at our farm stand.

- Last chance for strawberries
by Jim
We picked a good amount of strawberries this morning to bring to Princeton and LaSalle farmers’ markets. This will very likely be the last we will bring to market this year. Self-serve u-pick will continue a few more days. Picking is amazingly good for this late in the season.
