We will be at farmers’ market in Princeton Saturday. We’ll bring red raspberries, tomatoes, winter squash (butternut and acorn), peppers (sweet (green and ripe) and hot varieties (jalapeno, habanero, and cayenne)), lettuce, edamame, baby bok choy, kale, cilantro, chestnuts, onions, garlic, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Plow Creek Bakery will also provide a good variety of breads, cookies, and rolls. Market is open rain or shine, and opens at 8:30. And, this Saturday, don’t miss Staci Sessler’s booth- She will be offering Peanut Butter Pumpkin Apple Dip! Staci is a SNAP ed worker with the U of I Extension. Be sure to stop by and say Hi!


We are going to farmers’ markets in Princeton and Peoria on Saturday. We’ll have some raspberries, tomatoes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash, peppers (sweet & hot varieties), eggplant, garlic, purslane, braising mix, and kale. Princeton market opens at 8:30; Peoria at 8:00. This will be the last Peoria market of the season, so time to stock up.


We will be at farmers’ markets in Princeton and Peoria on Saturday. We’ll have red raspberries, strawberry and raspberry jam, watermelons, tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers (sweet and hot varieties), winter squash, eggplant, green and mature onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, braising mix, and garlic. Plow Creek Bakery is still on vacation; we expect them back at market next weekend.


Saturday is forecast to be pleasantly cool; come enjoy farmers’ markets. We are going to be in Peoria and Princeton with watermelons, raspberries, tomatoes, a variety of winter squash, peppers (sweet & hot varieties), potatoes, sweet potatoes, eggplants, garlic, onions, kale, braising mix, and purslane. Plow Creek Bakery is on vacation. It is Princeton’s Homestead Festival parade day. If you are not coming for the parade, you might want to come to market early to avoid the crowds. Peoria market opens at 8:00 and Princeton at 8:30.


Saturday looks like it will be a beautiful day to go to the farmers’ market. We will be in Princeton and Peoria. We’ll have plenty of watermelon and tomatoes. We’ll also bring red raspberries, jam, eggplant, peppers (green, sweet/ripe, & hot), potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, winter squash and purslane (one of the best vegetable sources of omega-3 fatty acids!). Plow Creek Bakery also will have a good supply of baked goods. Peoria market opens at 8:00 and Princeton at 8:30.


We will be at Princeton Farmers’ Market on Tuesday afternoon. We have plenty of watermelon, blackberries, delicata squash, and tomatoes. We’ll bring what might be the last few blueberries of the season. We also expect to have peppers (ripe, green, and hot varieties), eggplant, potatoes, onions, garlic, basil, cilantro, zucchini, cucumbers, kale and chard. Market runs from 3:00 to 5:30.


We will be at Peoria and Princeton Farmers’ markets on Saturday. The seedless watermelon are finally ready. We’ll also bring watermelon with seeds, muskmelon, red raspberries, blackberries, and a few blueberries. For vegetables, we have lots of tomatoes, hot and sweet peppers (green and ripe), potatoes, eggplant, cucumbers, zucchini, onions, garlic, kale, and chard. For herbs we’ll bring basil and cilantro. Plow Creek Bakery will provide their usual great variety of baked goods. Peoria market opens at 8:00 and Princeton at 8:30.
