The Tiskilwa Strawberry Festival is an annual tradition that takes place the second Saturday in June.  

On Saturday June 12, 2004,   West Park in Tiskilwa is the place to find barbecued chicken with all the trimmings.  For dessert savor luscious strawberries piled on shortcake and ice cream. Garage sales are scheduled all over town through the day.  

For the past couple years, our youth group, for a fund raiser, has taken responsibility for the rolls, coleslaw, and baked beans that go along with the chicken meal.

One year we posted a humorous picture of pretending to lick fingers full of coleslaw.  Someone took it seriously and complained.   So this time we posted rules - and no funny pictures!
