Our Vision for Plow Creek Fellowship
To establish and maintain an apostolic order of Christians who shall commit themselves to assist one another in accomplishing mutually derived goals of faith and work, included but not limited to the following:
(A) To call men and women to faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and to a way of life outlined in his teachings.
(B) To build up, among these followers of Jesus, a life of brotherly love, involving frank and open speaking, mutual care and responsibility in all things and a willingness to adjust differences in the order according to the plan given by Jesus in Matthew 18: 15-17.
(C) To withstand economic injustice and greed through renunciation of selfish accumulation and a readiness to share material things with fellow Christians and people in need everywhere.
(D) To hold and manage property for the common good of the Order and the building up of the kingdom of God.
(E) To hold finances in shared funds for the common good of the Order and the building up of the kingdom of God.
(F) To forsake war and violence as a way of settling disputes and foster instead, the deeds of charity, reconciliation and peace.
(G) To overcome and resist prejudice, seeking to unite in mutual respect and brotherly love with people of all national, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
(H) To seek the welfare and unity of Plow Creek Church and the larger Christian movement.
